Italians Do It Better. At least Glass Candy thinks so... That's the not-so-subtle title of their label, under which their 2007 debut as a duo: B/E/A/T/B/O/X was produced. Sugary as their name implies, I was one cavity away from a root canal when I finished. The CD itself is just an 808 short of full-fledged computer-produced masochism. Love songs for robots maybe. And yet, it's the kind of music you can instantly take your cool off and dance to. You know you want to!Lucky for fans, a collection of singles, b-sides, and rarities has also surfaced and I couldn't be more full of beatific joy. Obviously, Mexicans (That's me!) do it pretty darn good too ...
