... I'm honestly curious. I have been embarrassed to call myself an American for several years now, but with election of Obama (My first presidential vote!!), and the subsequent wave of enthusiasm for change, I feel a renewed optimism in both our country and it's citizens.
This song is full of "Yes I Can"s, but the real American sentiment of the zeitgeist is Yes We Can. That bright, bright, bright sunshiney day might not be so far away... And in the spirit of change, or the anything is possible, I'm changing our name. Goodbye UAFT, hello Get Down Moses. If you haven't guessed by now, The Clash is my all time favorite band, Joe Strummer is my complete idol/hero/marital fantasy, and this song title off Streetcore just seemed appropriate.
